Revellers hold two minutes silence for MP shot and stabbed to death
Impromptu gathering of Glastonbury mourners pay respect to Jo Cox on what would have been her 42nd birthday

GLASTONBURY revellers put their partying on hold to remember murdered MP Jo Cox in a two minutes silence.
Hundreds gathered spontaneously to pay their respects to Jo -- who was stabbed and shot to death in her Yorkshire constituency last week.
Dozens bowed their heads in respect to the Labour MP for Batley and Spen at a muddy field in the festival site.
Today would have been Jo's 42nd birthday.

Similar emotional scenes were witnessed in London today, where widower Brendan Cox led a commemoration in Trafalgar Square.
He and other mourners travelled to the square in a flotilla from West London, where the family live on a houseboat.
Thousands gathered to hear Brendan along with Nobel peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai and actors Bill Nighy and Gillian Anderson.
Jo's two children, Cuillin, 5, and Lejla, 3, travelled with their heartbroken dad to the gathering, which was themed as “More in Common”.
Her suspected killer, Thomas Mair, has been charged with murder.
In his first court appearance on Saturday, he gave his name as "death to traitors, freedom for Britain."
