Cops responded to a home in Kearns, Salt Lake County, Utah, after receiving a call about a man who was fatally shot in the chest.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene where they found the man unresponsive on the floor before taking him to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives say Mann told them that he and his pal had been smoking marijuana that night and began talking about guns during their smoke session in the kitchen.

The pair then went into the garage to continue their conversation where the two began handing handguns.

There, Mann's friend said he could dodge a bullet, reports claim.

The 23-year-old told cops that they unloaded the guns they were using but one of the weapons ended up firing and struck his friend in the chest as he was trying to "jump out of the way".

Mann said they did the dangerous stunt roughly six times before it ended in tragedy.

Arrest documents read: "[Mann] said the final time the gun fired striking [the victim] in the chest."

Mann said his friend asked him to call 911 after being shot, while Mann reportedly rendered aid to the victim until emergency services arrived.

Officials didn't immediately identify the man who was killed.

It comes after rapper 2 Low appeared to fire a gun in his pocket during a live interview.

The 46-year-old was live on the One on One Wit Mike D podcast when a loud bang and flash of orange erupted from his jean pocket.

As rapper 2 Low was listening to podcast host Mike D about choices people make in life, footage shows him casually reaching into his jean pocket.

Suddenly a massively loud bang is heard, with a flash of orange even visible through 2 Low's jeans as he initially jumps before freezing in sheer shock and panic.

Mike D, unsure of where the bang came from, looks at his podcast producers, asking with a confused expression: "Who shot who?"

Meanwhile 2 Low is still holding the same terrified expression as when the shot was fired.

He then pulls the gun out slightly before tucking it back into his pocket as he and Mike D look on the floor, presumably for the bullet.

No injuries were reported from the incident - and it's not clear whether the incident was a stunt or not.
