Brit negotiators hail Brexit breakthrough on trade deal with Brussels
Topics to be thrashed out over the summer in break neck speed are arranged in 24 different categories, including goods and services, customs, fishing, and security cooperation

BRITISH negotiators last night hailed a Brexit breakthrough on a trade deal with Brussels.
The EU and UK published a blueprint for talks that will lead to agreement on a framework for the future partnership by October.
Topics to be thrashed out over the summer in break neck speed are arranged in 24 different categories, including goods and services, customs, fishing, and security cooperation.
A broad deal must be agreed in just five months by the deadline of the EU summit in October.
British officials hailed the dossier as a key move forward amid reports Michel Barnier is considering pulling the plug on trade planning over Ireland.
A UK source told The Sun: “It shows progress. It’s an important step in terms of how we’re going to approach discussions on the future.”
