Nectar Sleep Black Friday 2024: We “absolutely recommend” Nectar mattresses — but there’s a catch to its November deals
NECTAR Sleep has launched its early Black Friday deals, claiming to offer up to 45% off bestselling mattress models.
However, there's more to its deals than meets the eye.
Known for its premium mattresses and sleep accessories, typically offers some of its best discounts during the Black Friday annual shopping event.

Nectar has published "Early Black Friday savings" on its website, claiming to allow customers to "save up to 45% on mattresses".
However, the 45% discount is not a 45% reduction in the mattress' price.
Rather, it's a discount compared to what Nectar calls the mattress' "Total Value".
Nectar explains: "We regularly establish a Total Value for each product we sell and show you the price of our products as a savings against this value.
"We identify three or more comparably built products and periodically track the actual prices they are sold for - not the price 'they' claim they are worth.
"We establish our Total Value at or below the average of the selected products."
This means that, while Nectar's prices are commendably cheap, its mattresses aren't currently discounted from their usual price.
Instead, the brand has a long-standing commitment to offering its mattresses for less than its competitors.
That means that we'd expect it to reduce its prices during Black Friday in tandem with rivals like Simba and Emma.

While Nectar Sleep hasn't officially confirmed whether it's taking part in Black Friday this year, it's highly likely it will, based on previous trends.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is Nectar taking part?
Cyber Monday always falls on the Monday just after Black Friday, keeping the great sales coming.
This year, Cyber Monday kicks off on December 2.
