TRAILBLAZER Fallon Sherrock made history when she become the first woman to beat a man in the PDC World Darts Championships.
Here we take a look at her relationship with partner and fellow darts pro Cameron Menzies.
Fallon Sherrock was born on July 1, 1994 in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England.
She started on the road to success at the Girls World Masters in 2012, adding further glories at the women's Jersey Open and women's British Classic.
Fallon competed at every BDO World Championships in the female category from 2014 to 2019 — reaching the final in 2015, ultimately losing to fellow Englishwoman Lisa Ashton.
She picked up the BDO World Darts Trophy in 2018, along with two further titles on the women's tour in 2019.
In 2019, Fallon became the first woman to beat a man at the BDO World Darts Championship, defeating Ted Evetts 3-2, going on to beat 11th seed Mensur Suljović in the second round — before losing to 22nd seed Chris Dobey in round three.
Since then she has become a real threat on the men's circuit, reaching the final of the Nordic Darts Masters in September 2021.
Fallon made history yet again in August 2023 when she became the first woman to make a televised nine-dart finish against Adam Lipscombe in the Modus Super Series.
And she is not the only Sherrock on the darts scene, with twin sister Felicia having competed alongside her at the WDF Europe Cup Youth in 2011.
Away from darts, Fallon has a son, Rory, who was born in April 2014.
Fallon is in a relationship with Cameron Menzies.
He is a 35-year-old darts player, who was born in Glasgow, Scotland.
Cameron also works a plumber and fits his day-job around competing in top-level darts tournaments.
He said he's lucky to have a partner he can practice darts with at home... that is until he gets beat.
Cameron told "We enjoy our practice together and she is a very class player.
"She has done well for darts in general and is banging in 90 averages and 100 averages, the same as a lot of women.
"I'm quite lucky I've got a very good partner who can play darts.
"It's good in the house unless she beats me and I've got to make the food. I don't like it when she beats me.
"I will support her left, right and centre. I am her biggest fan.
"I might be a bit strict, but I know how good she is. I've known her for a very long time and I know she is very, very good.
"She's taken me places I would never have experienced because of darts, so I'm a very lucky person.
"I'm her biggest fan and I wish her all the best."
Menzies is ranked 41 in the world in PDC Order of Merit.
This year, he reached the quarter-final of a Players Championship event, before losing to Gerwyn Price.
While at the World Grand Prix he was in the last-32.
Fallon and Cameron met on the darts circuit and clicked in no time — they played doubles together and naturally got together.
The couple started dating in 2021 — their romance blossomed after a date at a KFC in Southampton.
A year later they moved in together, with some higher-class date nights following, such as dining at one of Salt Bae's restaurants.
In 2023, the Scot revealed his girlfriend has improved his darts.
Time away from his day job as a plumber has also made him a better player, with Fallon cheering him on when she's not playing herself.
Menzies revealed: "I had known Fallon for years in darts and played doubles with her years ago.
"We met in an online league in Southampton. The rest is history as they say. It started off with a KFC."
Amusingly, in an interview with Menzies revealed that Sherrock has "bigger balls" than him and is better when the pressure is on.
"If I wasn't with Fallon I'd still be a decent darts player, but she has definitely made me a better player. Who is the better of the two of us?
"I think I’m a tad better, but she’s better on stage when you're in the spotlight. She just handles that better... she has bigger balls than me."
"I’m getting better at it, but when it comes down to the marbles in an important match Fallon performs better. Hopefully one day I can keep up with her level in that area."
Cameron is always looking at the draws at the Worlds, and is hopeful of avoiding his partner.
"There's a handful of players you don't want to draw and Fallon is up there," he said.
"I play Fallon in the house and I beat her eight times out of 10, but she has a moment when she smashes me."
Just months after giving birth to her son Rory, Fallon developed a serious kidney problem that almost led to organ failure.
Speaking to SunSport's Rob Maul, she said: "About six months after I had my little boy in April 2014, I ended up getting a kidney disease.
"It was a worrying time. I started taking medication to weaken my immune system because that is what was attacking my kidneys.
"The problem was when I went on different medication, I suffered side effects.
"And the side effects caused ‘moon face’, where my face swelled up. It was a reaction.
"When I played in the BDO worlds on TV, I received a lot of criticism for how I looked.
"If I saw negative comments I tried to look past them. I’m not going to dwell on what someone has said if it doesn’t affect my life.
"I think that attitude helps to strengthen my character."
Yeas, Fallon will be competing in the 2024-25 PDC World Championship, much to the delight of her army of fans.
And she is not the only female competitor in the field this year.
She will be joined by Beau Greaves — who thrashed Fallon's man Cameron a month before the Worlds kick off — and Noa-Lynn van Leuven.
