Baller League LIVE RESULTS: John Terry BEATEN on night 1 of Baller League as Alisha Lehmann and Gary Lineker WIN

NIGHT ONE of the highly-anticipated Baller League is OVER as Angry Ginge and Yanited race into first place.

Many famous faces, including Gary Lineker, John Terry and Maya Jama assembled, although there was no sign of Maya Jama or Gary Lineker on night 1.

Angry Ginge's Yanited beat N5 FC 7-2 to go top of the Baller League in the first match of the Baller League UK, and nobody could overtake them in the following five games.

Terry endured a rough start to management life, losing 5-2 to SDS FC and currently second bottom of Baller League.

Alisha Lehmann had no such issue, as her side MVPs United beat FC Rules the World 5-4.

  • ‘Wasn’t on my bingo card’ – Fans baffled as Mark Goldbridge chats to Alisha Lehmann

Football fans have joked Mark Goldbridge was "chatting up" Alisha Lehmann during their unexpected collab at Ballers League.

The YouTuber and Manchester United fan joined the Juventus star to discuss the tournament's opening matches from London's Copper Box.

Lehmann, a former WSL star dubbed the 'World's Sexiest Footballer', co-owns a team in the competition.

The 26-year-old joined up with TV personality Maya Jama to watch their MVPs United face FC Rule The World.

During the contest, Sky viewers were treated to a sit-down interview between streamer Goldbridge and the Swiss striker.

But in an awkward start, Goldbridge said: "We're going to have to share the microphone. It's a technical issue."

Lehmann claimed she was delighted with her team's 5-4 victory in the tournament opener.

But the interview had to be cut short as a flustered Goldbridge appeared to forget if MVPs United had won a bonus point.

  • A magical reunion?

John Terry (maybe jokingly) had suggested that he was considering a reunion with a pair of former Chelsea LEGENDS.

Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba were the talk of the commentary, with Terry keeping them on speed dial.

Each side is given a wildcard, and JT may have to give his old friends a ring sooner than expected after his opening day defeat.

  • Tough start for Terry

John Terry’s team were the one to watch ahead of night 1.

Baller League fans were eagerly anticipating the debut of the legendary Chelsea captain in the dugout, but his first outing fell flat.

There was a lot of talk of how his side would set up defensively, but Terry’s side were beaten by SDS FC.

Lead by Sharky, SDS FC beat the 26ers 5-2, seeing them second bottom after night 1.

  • Don't need Defoe

Angry Ginge's Yanited cruised to a 7-2 victory on opening night, and are now top of Baller League after week one.

However, throughout the night, Ginge revealed he was given the chance to wildcard Jermaine Defoe - but DECLINED.

Instead, he insisted he would use the players he had drafted throughout the first night.

It turned out to be a good decision - but they could have scored even more with Defoe up top!
