Littler's Price admission
Luke Littler admits he's in the heads of several players, just not Gerwyn Price's.
Speaking after his win over Luke Humphries on Thursday, he told Sky Sports: "I said to Luke (Humphries) there, I don't know how we played that game, we were both tired.
"But that's what happens when you have to play three games in a night, you can get tired.
"I'm just glad that I dug myself over the line," Littler told Sky Sports following his win in Newcastle.
"As a player you should always be playing against the board, but I'm playing too well for them not to be playing against the board as well as me.
"I've got a few of them, just not Gezzy [Price]."

Darts icon Bobby George has claimed Luke Littler would have no chance of getting the better of a prime Phil Taylor and would get
He told talkSPORT: "Look, he [Taylor] was a great player, you have your day.
“[But] you get to a certain age in your life in your sport, everyone has it, and your body doesn't allow you to play as you used to.
“If he played Littler now he’d get slaughtered, it'd be most embarrassing."
Bunting breaks silence
Stephen Bunting has broken his silence following his midweek demolition by Luke Littler.
In response to a fan's X post encouraging him to keep his head up, he said: "Thank you. Much appreciated.
" I stay away from the negative comments as I know they are there. I'm proud to be part of the Premier League.
"I'm proud of how far I've come since the times when I was thinking of quitting and to be on the verge of moving to No. 4 in the world is amazing.
"I'll never give up, and I'll always try 110 per cent to achieve my goals."

The Asp's admission
Nathan Aspinall admits his European Darts Trophy victory in Gottingen last weekend has been a real confidence booster.
He said: “That was a big win for me. It was what I needed.
“Because of the situation I’ve been in over the last few years with the injuries and the dartitis, it was probably my proudest moment.
"This will help me believe in myself and it shows I’m still good enough to compete against the top boys, so roll on Thursday against Michael.”

Luke Little believes he's the best darts player in the world, but he won't be saying it out loud.
Speaking after his speaking after his 6-1 win over Lujke Humphries, the 18-year-old said: "I think that goes to show how everyone does say I'm the best in the world at the minute.
"But you know me I'll never really say I'm the best in the world but I'm performing better than these guys.
"So maybe I should be saying I'm best in the world. But we'll just see how it goes."
Littler backs United's stadium plans
Luke Littler has backed the new Manchester United stadium even though he reckons it looks like Butlin’s!
The teen sensation revealed he is keen for the £2billion New Trafford to be a huge success.
Littler, 18, romped to a fourth Premier League on Thursday night, going eight points clear at the top of the table.
But he then admits, along with social media wags, that the stunning new design for United’s home looks like the darts venue Butlin’s in Minehead.
Littler has got a great record at that complex, having won the UK Open there last month.
On whether it looks like Butlin’s, he laughed: “I agree! Yeah, it’s got to take years. Years and years as a United fan.
“I hope it can obviously go ahead, because it needs doing. You need a fresh stadium.
"But no, I think it’ll look good in the next, I’d say five to seven years.”

Luke Littler cruised his way to yet another nightly Premier League win on Thursday night, as he saw off the competition to strengthen his position on top of the table in Newcastle, reports SunSport's Joshua Hall.
Littler, 18, banked £10,000 for the nightly win after dispatching of Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross and Luke Humphries with ease.
In total, Littler was playing darts for just 36 MINUTES.
Meaning he effectively earned a whopping £277.78 PER MINUTE after bagging the £10k nightly prize.
That figure would have Littler earning around £2.8MILLION PER WEEK, if he could always be playing - a sum that works out at over FIVE TIMES the weekly wage of the Premier League's highest earner Erling Haaland (£500k-per-week).
Of course, Haaland doesn't earn his money based on the amount of minutes he plays, and if he did then the assumption of 90 minutes of football per week would mean he would have the earning potential of a ridiculous £56MILLION PER WEEK.

World No.1 Luke Humphries has revealed his theory for why Stephen Bunting has made a terrible start to the Premier League.
During an appearance on talkSPORT, he said: We’re really close friends, so when things aren’t going right he’s going to come for me for a bit of advice.
"His manager did and said can you have a word with Stephen and try and give him a bit of encouragement, which I did.
"I said to him I don’t know if the walk on song is affecting him a little bit at the start.
"Nathan (Aspinall) had this and told me the buzz is so high that for the first couple of legs it’s hard to come down from.
"When you’ve got that massive buzz, you’ve got the first two legs where you are waiting to come down a little bit.
"He’s not had a great record winning the first couple of legs and I said to him when you do your walk on, do it but give yourself 15 or 20 seconds at the table before you throw your practice darts and allow yourself to come down from that adrenaline.
"It did help him out, he didn’t win but he played better. I think he’ll be alright. It will be hard for him to qualify for the top four now, but three wins out of the next 10 weeks he could do it."It’s a very daunting task sitting bottom of the league. It’s a horrible feeling."

Wade's wrath James Wade has doubled down on his belief that Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey DON'T deserve a spot in the Premier League.
He told talkSPORT: "It wasn't a criticism, it was an opinion.
"There's a couple of reasons why one of them got in and that would be Nathan (Aspinall).
“Nathan's never, ever had a bad Premier League. He's always produced good darts. He's always been there or thereabouts.
"I think there's only one time where he's not finished inside the top four.
“Do I think he should have been in this year? No, I don't. But I know why they put him in. He's reliable and he's good at what he does. The crowd do like him.
“I think probably there's another player that should have gone in his place and the same again for Chris Dobey.
"I think there could have been other players. “There were other options apart from those two.”

Bunting record
Stephen Bunting set an impressive record despite his 6-0 thrashing by Luke Littler.
The darts star has endured a torrid start to life in the Premier League, losing every one of his eight matches.

Luke Littler is running away with this year's Premier League.
But at the other end of the table, spare a thought for Stephen Bunting.
The Bullet began 2025 with promise but has slumped to eight defeats in eight weeks so far, sitting at the bottom of the pile.
After thrashing Bunting 6-0 on Thursday, world champ Littler said: "I think last week he said he's putting too much pressure on himself, without a win in eight weeks.
"If I were Stephen you've just got to relax. Saying 'Come on win that first game'.
"I'm sure once he gets that first win and gets that winning feeling he'll go on, I think he could win a night."

It might have been a night to forget for Luke Humphries as he failed to beat Luke Littler in Newcastle.
But he was delighted to emerge with his golden darts - and has no intention of moving them on.
World No1 Humphries said: "It's an amazing prize.
"When we were told about the gold set of darts by BetMGM, I said I'd love to win them.
"It's something prestigious to remember my first TV nine-darter with."

It was a lucrative night for Luke Littler, who bagged £10,000 in prize money for his victory in Newcastle.
The Nuke was in a hurry to get the job done, with his time on stage adding up to just 36 minutes over his three matches.
If you crunch the numbers, that works out to approximately £277.78 per minute - more than a Premier League footballer on £300,000-a-week.
Not a bad night's work for an 18-year-old.

Luke here
Littler has given World No1 Luke Humphries some advice after another dramatic night in the Premier League.
The Nuke beat Cool Hand 6-1 in the final, his third win in the last four meetings between the pair.
Littler said: "For myself, when I'm playing certain players I know when I've got them and it goes to show.
"Luke Humphries, he shows a bit too much.
"As a player you're like he's at 60 or 41 and he's not happy about it.
"Then his next throw, he is the same score so you just have to pounce."

Despite another night of domination, Luke Littler admitted after his win in Newcastle there was more in the tank.
He said: "It's another night win and another trophy, so I'm delighted.
"It's more points on the board and I'm sitting comfortably at the top of the table now, so I should be even more settled going into the next few weeks.
"Me and Luke [Humphries] both said we felt tired before the final, so I'm just happy to get over the line."

As much as the darts fans enjoyed seeing them in attendance, nobody seemed to enjoy the evening more than Dan Burn.
The hero of Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final, with no match this weekend, they could well be painting the town black and white tonight.
They had some entertaining matches to keep them happy throughout the tournament, despite Dobey's early exit.

Iceman melts facing Voltage
Gerwyn Price had another disappointing showing in Newcastle.
He really could not get started and Cross was looking in impressive form as he quickly took the match away from him.
It was one of those performances where it was just not happening for The Iceman and he was probably glad to get off the stage.

Michael van Gerwen often shows glimpses of the person he once way.
The fact he is still able to replicate that makes you hopeful he can hit the highs of the past.
Yet he is still not quite clicking and went out in disappointing style against The Asp this evening, despite having been in a dominant position.

After his nightly win, Littler spoke with Sky Sports about his impressive victory over his mate:
It's another week with more points on the board. I'm set up even more for going into the next couple of weeks. I said to Luke, I don't know how we played that game, we were both tired. But I got myself over the line. As a player, you should be playing against the board. I'm playing too well for them to be doing that as they are playing the board and me.
