Brew, Biccy, Bingo

Here’s how I think big bingo fan Adele would spend £10 on Fabulous Bingo

Illustration of a woman saying "Brew, biccy, bingo" with "Fabulous Bingo" below.

I spent £10 on Fabulous Bingo, playing in the bingo rooms that I think Adele, a self-confessed bingo lover, would enjoy.

The team at Fabulous Bingo and I know all too well how brilliant bingo can be.

It would seem we are in good, A-star celebrity company.

During her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the 16 Grammy award-winning performer shared with the audience her fond memories of bingo.

“It reminded me of my grandmothers and my aunties when I was younger. They would play bingo every Tuesday and Thursday… it was a socialising thing”.

Adele has also pledged to host a weekly bingo club for her friends, once her residency comes to an end.

Now that I know Adele likes a game of bingo that got me wondering what Adele would like to play on Fabulous Bingo.

So, this Brew, Biccy, Bingo is dedicated to the Tottenham megastar.

With my usual budget of £10, I played in the bingo rooms that I thought Vanity Fair’s Queen of Hearts would enjoy.

Let’s see how I got on!

Brew

Adele would be proud of this brew, it’s a classic Yorkshire Tea in my “Honourable Lady” mug.

Biccy

Sticking with British traditions, I’ve got a Scottish shortbread as my sweet treat.

Bingo

Megastars such as Adele don’t have much free time, so I kept this bingo session to a tight one-hour slot.

I played between 2:30pm and 3:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

My budget was £10.

I focused on the rooms that I thought the British singer-songwriter would enjoy playing in.

London Room

As a proud Londoner, there’s no better room for Adele to start in than the London Room, home to Fabulous Bingo’s penny bingo games.

This is also fitting as a source previously told The Sun, “Adele is like any normal girl, she loves a bargain”.

Game One: 10p Bingo Link!

I said Hello to my session with a 2:30pm game of 10p Bingo Link! I paid £1 for 10 tickets (they cost a little extra as this was a linked game).

However, as the Free Tickets feature was enabled, had I had any free tickets linked to my account, I could have used these instead.

As the London Room hosts 90-ball bingo, there are at least three prizes per game: 1L, 2L and full house.

There’s also a £10,000 jackpot to be won if the full house is triggered in 35 calls or less.

I thought I had a chance of winning as I was down to 2TG, but I had to Hold On before I started adding to my winnings pot.

Game Two: Spend a Penny!

Sticking in the London Room, I got the chance to play a game of penny bingo, with extra jackpots to be won thanks to the Triple Whammy Jackpots feature.

I PLAYED THE EGYPTIAN SLOT GAMES WITH £10

This bonus chance to win means that players can trigger additional jackpots if the 1L (Bronze), 2L (Silver) or full house (Gold) are announced within a specific ball call range.

So, while the base game had a pot of £15.61, there were also pots worth £27.60, £55.20 and £193.19 up for grabs.

When I reached 2TG again, I thought I might achieve some Hometown Glory, but I was once again pipped at the post.

Game Three: Spend a Penny!

Now and Then, there are sessions where you can play multiple games in a room and not win a penny... this was one of those sessions.

Despite another Triple Whammy game, the 2:40pm Spend a Penny! didn’t add to my pot.

However, just before this game, I got to play one of the chat room games – Elemental.

To be eligible, you must have wagered at least £2 in the past seven days.

DO YOU KNOW THE LATEST BINGO LINGO?

A pop-up appears with a matching game. Match the symbols to form three in a row.

Keep going until the timer stops. The player with the highest score Takes it All and gets a bingo bonus.

Sparkle Suite

There’s no denying that Adele is a shining icon.

Her glitz and glam persona would surely be interested in Fabulous Bingo’s Sparkle Suite room!

Game Four: Afternoon 1TG

I said “That’s it, I Quit, I’m Movin’ On” to the London Room and hoped over to the Sparkle Suite for the next two games.

This is another room that hosts 90-ball games. As well as the three base game prizes, this 2:48pm helping had the 1TG feature.

That meant that a £40 cash pot was shared among the players who had just one number left to dab when the full house was won.

PLAY IN FABULOUS BINGO'S CITY ROOMS

I was among 170 players hoping for the chance to win a share of the £225 minimum cash pot, including a £120 full house prize.

Alas, it wasn’t my game.

Game Five: Afternoon XTG

However, that was all Water Under the Bridge as this 3pm game not only marked half way through the session, but it also was the first game that added to my winnings pot.

WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE STAR-THEMED BINGO ROOMS?

Thanks to the 1TG and 2TG features, I won a share of the £75 bonus features pot.

The full house winner got £150!

There were no winners of the room’s progressive £6,020 jackpot, which is activated when the full house is won within 33 calls.

It is then split evenly between the full house winner(s) and the community.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BINGO JACKPOTS

Winning Headlines

The Skyfall singer has made plenty of headlines in her career thus far!

So, the Winning Headlines room could be a good choice for this headline act.

Game Six: Winning Headlines!

The games in Winning Headlines! are generally smaller, with only 19 players participating in this 3:04:15pm game.

WANT TO KNOW ABOUT FREE SPINS?

The room hosts multi-price bingo, so players have the option to buy higher-priced tickets, for the chance to win a bigger cash pot.

You can spend 10p, 20p, £1 or £2 for the chance to win £1, £5, £10, £20, respectively.

There’s only one prize in such games: the full house.

I saved the Best for Last, which is that there are three room jackpots.

The Hot off the Press! jackpot must be won in 16 calls or less. The jackpot amount varies depending upon the winner’s ticket price. There’s £10,000 to be won on a £2 ticket.

THURSDAY MORNING BINGO AT FABULOUS BINGO

The second jackpot in this room, the Deadline Jackpot! is a little more generous, allowing 18 calls. The maximum win from that jackpot is £1,000.

There is also a third jackpot: Headline Jackpot!

This is a community jackpot that can be triggered only if the winning call is a special Sun symbol ball and all six such symbols have been called during the game.

Game Seven: Winning Headlines!

Games in the Winning Headlines! room are much faster, as they are only 36-ball bingo.

Also, rather than have multiple tickets, players may only buy one ticket of 10 numbers / symbols that float around the screen.

Despite there being more players in this 3:07pm game, I was able to bag the full house prize.

I said “Oh My God” as I saw my last number burst into flames and disappear as it was called.

That added £10 to my winnings pot.

HAVE YOU PLAYED THESE ANIMAL-THEMED GAMES?

Game Eight: Winning Headlines!

At the incredible starting time of 15:15:15, I tried my luck with another Winning Headlines! game.

Unfortunately, the game didn’t go Easy on Me and I wasn’t a winner… this time!

Sparkle Suite

I decided that this may be the room that Adele would like best, so I wanted to revisit it for the penultimate and final games.

PLAY BINGO ON A WEDNESDAY MORNING

Game Nine: Afternoon 10p

I know it seems like a Million Years Ago since this session started, but it’s coming to an end soon.

This 3:24pm game is another chance to use free tickets attached to your account.

Keen to stick to my budget, I only bought two of the potential 50 tickets that an individual can buy (at a cost of 10p each for those without free tickets).

PLAYING ON FABULOUS BINGO MEANT I GOT TO MEET ADELE...

While I didn’t win, the full house winner scooped £100!

Game Ten: Afternoon 20p Roll On

Are you Tired of playing like Adele? I thought not! However, this 3:30pm game is the last of this session.

After all, the popstar is a busy woman.

Tickets were 20p each, up to a maximum of 36 per player. There were 200 players in this game, so it’s a good thing that the Roll On feature was enabled (a feature I think the Rolling in the Deep singer would enjoy).

DO YOU LIKE MONDAY MORNING BINGO?

That meant that after the initial full house of £150 was won, the numbers kept being called so that four more players could win £18.75 each.

I wasn’t one such winner, but as bingo is more about the sense of community and fun than the winning, I made sure to Send My Love to the winners on the Gossip Corner chat room.

Wanna play some Fabulous Bingo?

Had Adele played this session, she would have a winnings pot of £11.59!

END YOUR WEEK WITH A GAME OF FABULOUS BINGO

I’m sure that the singer, worth a reported £165 million, would be thrilled.

That’s because with her Fabulous Bingo winnings, she could buy two things to make her bingo nights with friends a nostalgic, British blast:
