THE most popular home computer of all time is back in a big way.
The Commodore 64 has been reborn as the C64, and will be here in time for Christmas.
It's a full-size recreation of the original home console and games machine, complete with working keyboard.
You can plug it straight into your telly to play games in HD, and it even comes with an updated version of the classic joystick.

It's got a simple games carousel mode that includes California Games, Paradroid, Boulder Dash, Attack of the Mutant Camels, Hover Bovver, Iridis Alpha, and Gridrunner.
It even includes some newer games such as Galencia, an 'homage' to classic game Galaga which was created for Commodore 64 in 2017.
Unlike the original Commodore 64, the C64 has a USB slot, so you can load and save your own files or games.

The C64 is the second big release for retro game fans scheduled for the end of 2019.

Like the C64, the Mega Drive Mini includes one shoot-em-up that you'd never have been able to play on the original console, Darius.
They come hot on the heels of Sony's PlayStation Classic, and Nintendo's more successful NES Mini and SNES Mini.
