Freddie Flintoff’s Bullseye confirmed for full series and Christmas special after 8.6m people watched reboot
Over 30,000 people applied to take part in the last Christmas special
BULLSEYE has been confirmed to return for a full-length series and a Christmas special with former cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff as host.
The programme was revived for a special outing over the festive period last year - 43 years after it made its debut on TV.

Now, ITV have officially confirmed the show will be back after The Sun exclusively revealed that an announcement was imminent last week.
Freddie impressed as host with darts superstar Luke Littler also appearing as a special guest on the programme.
Former Top Gear host Freddie has now signed on for a brand new series with it expected to air later this year.
Four hour-long episodes will be broadcast as well as an additional extra-festive special.

Speaking about returning to the format, Freddie said: “I love the darts and Bullseye was one of my favourite shows as a kid.
"I was really pleased people seemed to like the Christmas special and so now I’m thrilled I get to host the series.
"You can't beat a bit of Bully!”
As well as Freddie, Master of Ceremonies, Richard Ashdown, will also be back as well as a variety of A-list darts stars as they take to the oche.

Last year's Christmas special saw more than 30,000 fans apply to take part in the show whilst more than 8.6million people tuned in to see the show back in action.
When it aired, the festive show topped ITV's ratings on Saturday and Sunday and eclipsed those tuning in for long-standing shows including The Chase and The 1% Club.

Bullseye was originally hosted by Jim Bowen for its initial 14 year run between 1982 and 1995.
A first attempt at a revival was then aired on Challenge TV in 2006 hosted by Dave Spikey.
