Where is Lorraine Kelly?

Lorraine Kelly was nowhere to be seen on her self-titled popular morning show today (Friday November 10,2023).

Fans of the popular Scottish presenter are used to seeing her host ITV's Lorraine every weekday morning from 9am-10am

However, she has taken today off from her day job.

She didn't give a reason as to why she might be away but she happens to be hosting the STV Children’s Appeal tonight which could explain her absence.

Who replaced Lorraine?

Bosses have brought in Loose Women star Christine Lampard to replace Lorraine.

She is often seen filling in for Lorraine when she's away from the show.

Christine, who is married to former footballer Frank Lampard, hosted the show over the half term (October 23 to 27, 2023).

Some fans were confused as to why Christine was hosting the show over half-term when she has kids who are school age, and Lorraine doesn't.

The couple has two children together - daughter Patricia Charlotte, born on September 21, 2018, and son Frederick George, who arrived on March 15, 2021.

One viewer said: "'Why is Lorraine off for half-term, she doesn't have school age kids."

Another said: "'Half-term which means the woman with a 28-year-old takes the week off and the woman with two young children does her show!"

One more commented: "Ah yes. Lorraine has half term off despite her daughter not having been at school for about 20 years, only to be replaced by someone with school age kids. The usual makes-no-sense move.

Meanwhile on October 20, 2023, former BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin took on the presenting duties.

GMB's Kate Garraway announced she was on the show, and said to the former BBC star: "Louise Minchin is in for Lorraine at 9.

"Hello, how lovely to see you on this side of the pond!"

When will Lorraine be back on ITV?

Lorraine is expected to be back presenting her show on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 9am.

ITV's Lorraine is a show filled with lifestyle, entertainment and fashion stories.

You can watch it from 9am until 10am Monday to Friday.

Lorraine is on for the hour in between Good Morning Britain and This Morning.

The legendary TV star has been the face of her own self-titled show since 2010, and before that was known for GMTV's Lorraine, which followed a similar format.

But she got her big break in the 1980s, when she landed a presenting gig on TV-am, which is what Good Morning Britain is now.
