OUR Girl’s Michelle Keegan locked lips with her dead fiance Elvis in steamy dream sequence in tonight's episode.
The BBC One drama returned last week with Michelle Keegan resuming her role as Georgie, who is still heartbroken over the death of fiancé Elvis at the end of the last series.
Elvis (Luke Pasqualino) died in an explosion, with Georgie desperately trying to save him.
Series four has seen the army medic struggling with her loss, before returning to Afghanistan despite showing signs of PTSD.
At the beginning of tonight's episode, Georgie shared a tender moment with Elvis, with the pair cradling each other's faces before sharing a steamy kiss.
But as the pair were pictured in their clinch, a loud bang abruptly brought Georgie back to reality, waking her up in the dark barracks.
The glimpse at Georgie's late lover tugged at viewers' heartstrings, with several taking to social media to reveal they found the flashbacks upsetting.
One wrote: "I love Our Girl so much but cry way to much at it just want Elvis back."
Another confessed: "Can they stop with the Elvis and Georgie flashbacks please because they break my heart."
A third shared: "Please don’t show Elvis right at the start.. My heart can’t handle it."
However, some fans think love could be on the horizon again for the character, despite her heart break, after a dishy new American doctor was introduced last week.
Doctor Antonio, played by British actor Josh Bowman, was seen clashing with Georgie following a suicide bomber attack.
But many think he could be the perfect medicine for her grief and become her new love interest.
One wrote: "Aah - there's the handsome doctor we ordered."
Another added: "Oooh hot doctor alert, he's no Elvis but he'll do."

A third tweeted: "American doctor? Georgie's new love interest I reckon."
The new series will be Michelle's last, after the 32-year-old revealed in January that she had quit the show after four years.
The actress revealed she wanted to try new projects and spend more time with husband Mark Wright after filming all over the world with Our Girl.
